Researchers at Duke University carried out a systematic review of studies and found an association between tooth care and the progression of cognitive decline.

The impact of dental care on physical health is well-documented. The teeth are a reflection of both mental and bone health. Oral health problems increase the risk of stroke, coronary heart disease, and dementia.
